Dearest (Beerest) Ottawa Beer Fest Supporter,
Last week, the City of Ottawa announced the cancellation of large public gatherings until June 30 – one of the many dramatic steps health officials have had to put in place to slow the transmission of COVID-19 and keep us safe.
Accordingly, Ottawa Beer Fest can no longer take place on the scheduled dates in May. We are following the situation closely and complying with all recommendations by Ottawa Public Health.
There’s no doubt these are challenging times… but we do have some good news: we have backup dates at the same wonderful venue!
That’s right – Ottawa Beer Fest is now scheduled for August 28-29 at the Aberdeen Pavilion (Lansdowne).
We are now looking forward to August, when we’ll be able come together to celebrate our vibrant, supportive, resilient community with delicious craft brews, incredible food, the Craft Beer Run, and all of you!
If you have tickets but won’t be able to come to the even in August, please let us know – email jacky@kcevents.ca. In the meantime, take care of yourselves – and each other – at a distance.
Love from the Ottawa Beer Fest Team
P.S. We’ve put together a list of local breweries and cideries that are offering Ottawa-area delivery or easy curbside pickup, you can find it on our Featured Stories on the site! Support local and raise a pint of perfection with a friend over FaceTime or Zoom!
