Philip Dangerfield is the Festivals Executive Producer and an entrepreneur with over 30 years in designing and delivering of communities’ festivals and national events.

Philip’s expertise in event planning, budgeting, and vendor management ensures that all elements essential to a successful whisky gathering are in place.

In addition to the whiskies, Philip aims to educate and engage attendees with expert-led tastings, masterclasses, and interactive sessions. He works closely with renowned whisky experts and distillers, handpicking individuals who can share their knowledge, tales, and passion, creating unforgettable moments of discovery.

Randy Fitzpatrick

Master of Ceremonies of Whisky Ottawa
 
Randy Fitzpatrick is a restaurateur with over 30 years experience throughout North America. Randy has also worked as an event planner & charity fundraiser for the past 15 years. He is an Accredited Sommelier and instructor and in his spare time Randy is a bourbon aficionado and collector with over 80 different labels in his personal collection.

Heather Watson's abilities as the Senior Event Manger brings the projects' communications to our communities. As a member of our team, she has been responsible for creating sound communications and all special requirements for the festivals visitors. She understands that events are about creating meaningful connections and leaving lasting impressions on attendees. With exceptional interpersonal skills, she excels in building relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring that everyone feels heard, valued, and motivated to make the event a resounding success. With a strong back ground in tourism, travel and years of producing national events with Alliance Events Heather is our go-to person. 

 

 

Christine Short

Comunications and Event Coordinator
 
Meet Christine Short, a true champion of exhibitor satisfaction, effortlessly bridging the gap between event organizers and our esteemed whisky exhibitors. With her superb communication skills Christine ensures that every exhibitor receives the support and information they need to shine at Whisky Ottawa. From the moment exhibitors join our event, Christine becomes their trusted point of contact, answering questions, providing guidance, and offering prompt assistance with a smile. But her role doesn’t end there as Christine works closely with our Executive producer and our entire team, behind the scenes and on site assisting all logistical aspects from coordinating the flow of activities to overseeing the setup of booths and tasting areas, ensuring that everything runs like a finely-tuned whisky distillery!
