Ottawa Beer Fest FAQ
The Ottawa Beer Festival is an annual event taking place at Aberdeen Pavilion at Lansdowne Park, May 10 & 11, 2019. We have dozens of craft beers, speciality and import beers as well as food, and some other fun stuff! If you have friends that don’t drink beer, bring them along; we have something for them as well. You can purchase your tickets online for $15 right HERE or at the door for $20
No. Tickets are date-specific and will only grant you access to the day specified on the ticket. The only way to get a weekend pass it to participate in the Ottawa Craft Beer Run.
The festival is located at Lansdown Park and there are many great ways to get there. Your Beer Fest ticket will let you ride OC Transpo 3 hours prior to and after the festival, simply present your ticket upon boarding. You can use routes 1 & 7 to get to the park. To plan your trip using transit, use the OC Transpo Trip planning tool. Underground parking at Lansdowne is available but is very limited. Festival goers are encouraged to take alternate modes of transportation such as transit, taxi, or walking. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE
YES! The festival grounds, washrooms and water-stations are wheelchair accessible.
There are ATMs on-site. We accept credit cards as well as cash.
Yes! We are excited to announce a Cider Bar! Cider is a strong member of the growing "craft market" of today, and each year we see more and more very tasty Ciders out there to try. Stop at the Cider Bar and try something new. A mix of other tasty beverages will be available.
No outside food or drinks are permitted inside the festival, but! We have several delicious food vendors from pub-fare to snacks.
The festival takes place on the City of Ottawa property which is Smoke-Free.
Absolutely! Not only are we hosting the Ottawa Craft Beer Run on the morning of May 10th, but we will have numerous activities like lawn games, beer pong, Jenga and other games, and live entertainment in the evenings. More to follow….

The event is 19+. Please make sure to bring government issued photo ID.
Beer tickets have a value of $1 each. You can buy sheets of 20. The vendors will offer samples of 4oz. 8oz, and 12oz for 2, 4, 6 tickets respectively
Oh no! You need that for your beer samples! If you lost your glass you can purchase another from the info booth for $5
In consideration with our partnership with CHEO and the Ottawa Craft Beer Run being all-ages, children are permitted Saturday ONLY from 11am-3pm. All other times are strictly 19+. Children must be accompanied by their adults at all times.
As much as we love dogs pets are not permitted unfortunately. Vested service animals are accepted
Unfortunately, there are no in-and-outs.
Yes. Security will be present at entry-point and throughout the festival grounds. You may be submitted to a bag-check, all prohibited items are not allowed.
Yes, this will be located at the security booth, next to the women’s washroom.
The festival will run, rain-or-shine. Many vendors are inside the pavilion.
There are picnic table available outside and inside as well as stand up table.
