Closest beach park to the Holland area, but not as busy as the Holland State Park. In addition to the unique tunnel through a dune, this park has a large playground, complete with a dune climb and a stairway to scenic views of Lake Michigan.<\/p>\n

Easily accessible from the Grand Rapids area, Kirk Park is a great destination! A unique offering is its popular off-leash dog beach. Visitors will also find a playground, modern restroom, picnic shelter, and more. A paved trail leads to viewing areas of Lake Michigan.<\/p>\n

Our most accessible view of Lake Michigan \u2013 no stair climbing required! Barrier-free facilities include the paved parking lot, picnic shelter, restrooms, beach walkway, playground and some picnic tables and grills. A Mobi Chair\u2014a beach wheelchair made for sand and water\u2014is available Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day during park hours.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re feeling up for a challenge, Rosy Mound includes 1,000 feet of stairs up and down the dunes and scenic views. This classic Great Lakes dune system includes high wooded dunes, foredunes, beach, and a dune blowout. Barrier free facilities include parking lot restrooms, picnic tables and grills. The 0.5-mile Acorn Trail is accessible via wheelchair.<\/p>\n
